Preeclampsia?

Hi! I’m just wondering whether anyone has had preeclampsia without the high blood pressure? I know that probably sounds a little ridiculous, but let me explain.

I had my 30 week appointment today and a few days prior I started itching like crazy. My inner arms and inner thighs itched the most.

We figured I was allergic to the progesterone shots I’ve been getting to keep my child in longer but my OB opted to do bloodwork also.

She mentioned she was worried it could also be fatty liver and that it was an extremely dangerous version of preeclampsia or something like that. BUT, I don’t have preeclampsia. My blood pressure has been perfect at every appointment.

I got my bloodwork back this evening and my ALT was high. The normal range was 10-40 and mine was 65! My AST was also high. Normal was 15-37 and mine was a 38. So not awful.

BUN came back low. 6 when the normal is 7-18.

She order a bile salt test that I won’t know the results of for a little while, but I’m just kinda concerned about what I might be dealing with.

My doctor should call in the morning if there is something wrong but always sends the test results to my chat overnight.

Just wondering if anyone else had this problem and what the outcome of it was? Thanks!
