STD Treatment Concern

Okay, so my boyfriend and I were recently treated for STD's. Not sure which one we tested positive for yet, but we went ahead and were treated for the baskc chlamydia/gonorrhea whatnot. I had the four pills and shot. He had 9 pills no shot, because he's allergic. My question though is, I am on day 3 after being treated, and yesterday my vagina flared up. I didn't even have this symptom before getting treated. Why is that? Am I reinfected? Or is that normal during the curing process??? It hurts to the touch and is swollen.
