Almost 1 yr old trying hard to talk???

Our almost 1yr old has been babbling “mama” “nana” “thatha” “Nunun” “quack” etc .

But for the past 3-4 days or 1 weeks , it’s less of babbling and trying to repeat the words we say.

So until last week when I ask him what does a duck say , he wud reply “quack”

He would say the same for “what does the cow say” then we would say “cow says moo moo”

Now when I ask the same about he opens him mouth moves his tongue , tries hard to say something & tenses up his face ... then says “quack” & cow he does the same & makes some other sound like “aaaahhh “ “ugggh”

his face gets really tensed up (sometimes even tongue out) which is what am worried about ... should I do something ?

Is it wrong to ask him such questions?

Am I forcing him ?

Is this normal ? Why is he doing this ?
