Have any of you adopted first?

We have been trying for 14-15 months with 3 months clomid and nothing’s working yet. I also have my first appointment with a fertility dr today. I’ve always been open to adopting but I wanted to have a biological one first. Yesterday, my husband told me if we don’t get pregnant by the end of this summer, he wants to look into other options (fostering/adopting). He said it doesn’t mean we will have to stop trying though. I don’t think one way is better than the other but I want our own so much more... I feel guilty that I want a biological child over an adopted one and keep trying to remind myself there’s nothing wrong with having a preference. But it looks like this is going to be a real possibility now...
