Any lip tie pros in the group? Is this a true lip tie if no feeding issues and no big gap?

I always thought it was attached to the roof of her mouth, but that’s not possible if the gap is closing, right? It looks like the tie blanches too when it’s pulled up. She never had any feeding issues and has no problems with speech except for a lisp sometimes. She’s 22 months.

Ask your pediatrician- even if the lip or tongue tie hasn't interfered with feeding it could end up impacting speech development later.

My son had lip and tongue tie they will not be getting snipped . He is healthy and eating fine we met with ped lactation consultant and ent an all agreed with me no need to fix any thing at this point if it was to become a issue later then we could. They’ll do it upto a year in office after a year it’s a out patient procedure but at this point none of us are rushing in .

My son is lie tied he was also tongue tied they snipped his tongue when he was little they didn’t realize he was lip tied to he’s getting it snipped in a few months it hasn’t affected him he’s 1 but want to do it before it starts to
