This is one of the scars I got from my work accident on Jan 31st. Does anyone know if it will be permanent? Or if it will fade away? It was just road rash on my elbow.

It will fade a bit...during the first year a scar will usually go from red to more pale almost silver looking

This is my road rash elbow from an injury 17 years ago. They spent a long time cleaning it and cutting rocks out of it. They also put in a few stitches because it was deep. It takes time, but I'm sure yours will fade. It doesn't look too deep and will probably heal up just fine. I heard cocoa butter or mederma work well to heal scars if your worried about it.
