I'm sure my daughter had strabismus.
I have twins who are 14 months old, one of which seems to have issues with her eyes. When she was a few months old her eyes looked off to me. As I read up on it I saw it was normal for their eyes to be this way up until a certain number of months. As she got older I didn't really notice it anymore until a couple of months ago. At first it was subtle and I thought I was just too worried about it, I have anxiety and tend to worry too much about everything. But as time passed it seemed to get worse to where it's extremely obvious that her eyes are misaligned. I also think it could be affecting her balance? Her and her sister are both walking/running but she seems to fall down way more and seems not as steady on her feet as her sister whose eyes seem fine. I'm taking her to her pediatrician next week who is going to look at her and hopefully refer me to a specialist. Has anyone dealt with this before with their child? I'm constantly worried about her eyesight and just feel awful that she's not seeing things the way she's supposed to. She's perfect and beautiful just the way she is but I just don't want this to be something that affects her later in life!
