Protection?!?!?!?

So I haven’t had sex yet, but we had to learn about sex in school and we had to talk about protection and what we would use. My question is should I use birth control, condom, or what else?

when you're ready to have sex, i recommend using both, since you're too young for kids. 
not to mention birth control doesnt prevent STDs, and they can be life changing. 
be safe, cautious, and make sure everything is consensual. 💕

Your 13. Definitely wait for sex. But when u do have sex. Using the pill and rhe condom is a really good option. Condoms protect against stds and pregnancy they are 80-85% effective with typical use. The pill is 98-99% effective if used right. So using both means your very much protected from stds and pregnancy. But again, your really young hun. Wait for when you older. Trust me it'll be a much better experience if ur older

The best thing to do is everything you can if you are going to have sex. So a form of birth control (the pill, the implant, an IUD, the patch, nuvaring, or whatever), a condom, and pulling out won’t hurt either. Which birth control method you choose is up to you and your comfort level. The pill isn’t recommended if you can’t remember to take it daily. Aka me. I could never rely on the pill because I just wouldn’t be able to take it daily.

Birth control (most likely the pill at your age) and condoms. Stds are no joke and birth control doesn't protect against those. And if your having sex you should be able to talk openly with your partner about Stds (like asking them their history, if they're clean, and the last time they were tested). If you think those kinds of conversations are too awkward or embarrassing then you're not mature enough to be having sex.
