Anyone here in the medical field?

Question

I went to school for phlebotomy, I'm working on just getting my license but I'm wondering what else can I study in the medical field that doesn't take so long and that isn't medical assisting.. 
I don't have the money to keep going to school long term. 
Is anyone here in the medical field?

A lot of places you don’t need a phlebotomy certification. I worked as a phlebotomist graduate school. I worked at plasma centers, and they trained me on the job. A lot of people would start out where I did and then after having a year of experience they were able to move to work at a hospital or other places. Problem is, phlebotomy just doesn’t pay great. Super fun though!

I’m a surgical tech and got training in the military, but some colleges offer a fast track option where you do the majority online and then the clinicals at a hospital. I’ve worked in the OR, endo, and OB.

I’m a paramedic! It’s not expensive to get your paramedic at a community college!

I’m an ophthalmic technician and I make over 36k... all I had to do was get certified and that took less than a year.

An LPN maybe? That’s about a year of school.
