Would you be concerned?

Ladies! So I’ve never actually tried to have a baby (finish inside of me, have sex on ovulation days, all that good stuff) but I’ve been off the pill for 2 years now, and have unprotected sex Atleast 3 times a week. He pulls out every time but I just find it odd I’ve never even came close to a pregnancy scare or anything like that. Is that something to be concerned about? Again, not trying to conceive but I just don’t know if I should bring it up to my doc or not. I also have ovarian cysts but usually they go away on their own.

I don’t think it’s anything to be concerned about until you’re actually wanting to conceive. Some people just aren’t as fertile (including myself). Have been using the pull out method with my husband for 4 years and have never had a scare. Sometimes, timing and effort is everything.

No. That's how it was with my husband and I too. When we finally started ttc it took us a year of actively trying to get pregnant. But I hear that's average.

The pill is like 99% effective when taken correctly, so I wouldn’t be surprised that you haven’t ended up pregnant. Definitely not of any concern. It takes a couple an average of a year to conceive when they’re actively trying
