vbac after 2 csections?

first child was born vaginal then had a emergency csection then tried for a vbac got to 7cm was stuck for 5hrs then got swollen which was a indication she was too big so they took me in for csection i had a 8lb then 2 9lb babies they told me after the 2nd csection that was it no more trying for a vbac but when i go in to my appointment tomorrow im going in saying i want a vbac any thoughts on this any moms out there who have had a vbac after 2 csections?

Ignore your doctors and search for a midwife. Do some research and find someone to support you. I don’t know where you are. Where I am we’re not supposed to “interview” midwives but I just didn’t bother telling them that that’s what I was doing. I made a bunch of appts with many different offices and walked out if I didn’t like what they said. I had a HBAC at 44wks. A girl who was a client the same time as me met in a support group - she had a VBA3C!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️ nobody can “make” you do anything nor “not allow” you to do what you want with YOUR body. Foetus-first care is not the best care model. And the current birthing trends are abhorrent and abusive. Once I released my fear of childbirth (because what woman HASNT been told her whole life how terrifying and painful it is?!!!) and listened to my body and drowned out the “experts” I had a healthy baby and healed my soul. There is a lot of research out there but it’s hard to find because often the people writing it aren’t being funded by big pharmaceutical or the medical industry so it’s pushed off as pseudoscience. When most of it IS peer-reviewed AND based on experience and not just who paid more to be considered the final say.

Trust your doctors if they say it isn’t a good idea. There’s so many things that can go wrong in a vback when the scar tissue isn’t thick enough from the previous csections. And a vaginal birth isn’t worth leaving your children without a mommy. Trust their judgment.

Do not ignore your doctors! They don’t want to put either of you at risk. If they say no, the answer is no due to safety for you and baby. It doesn’t matter the method, as long as you both are safe.
