He’s blowing me off, should I say something

I really like this guy but he communicates terribly. He does text first a lot but only like 3 texts. Once I really start talking it’s like he’s gone. And if I text him first, same thing. 3 or 4 texts and that’s it. When he did call, we talked for like 3 hours. So I don’t know if he’s just not a texter or what. We’ve only been on one date so I don’t want to whine about him not texting me this soon. We just met. He called more before but I didn’t always answer so I don’t know if he thinks he was calling too much and has now stopped. Idk.

The texting is enough but he hasn’t called at all after our first date a week or so ago. Before the date, he called weekend morning and weekday. So lately it’s like half ass texts and no calls
