cut on vagina

so my boyfriend was fingering me/playing with my clit etc and when we were done i went to go pee and i wiped and there was blood. upon further investigation i found that there was a small cut right next to my clit but it was bleeding a lot. i figured he must’ve accidentally cut me with his nail or something. it took me like 15 minutes and a lot of toilet paper for it to stop bleeding. i did some research and it said it’s because there’s thin skin down there, but i was panicking. i took a shower cuz i know i have to keep it clean but it burned when the water touched it. i was wondering if there’s anything i should be worried about or if i should put anything on it? i don’t want it to get infected idk i’ve never had a cut down there & it really gave me a scare. if anyone knows anything about this topic pls let me know, like how normal is this? should i see a doctor?
