Would this be okay?
So I am a FTM and I have no idea what to expect out of a 1 year old so I figured I would ask some other moms? My baby is super active. She will be 8 months this month and she is crawling, pulling to stand, and cruising the furniture. I have her room totally baby proofed. I was thinking about converting her crib into the toddler bed position (with a guard rail) for her 1st birthday. From everything I have read, the only reason not to do it is because they will wander around their room and get into things. I really dont see an issue with her playing in her room. Her furniture is all attached to the walls so they wont topple over. There are no exposed cords. All plugs are covered with either furniture that she cant move because they are anchored in or covered with those clear plug things and also a cover cover on top of that. So what do you guys think? Can I give her a toddler bed for her birthday?
