First child feeling left out

Hi mommas, I recently have noticed my first born who is now 7 1/2 is starting to show some signs of maybe feeling left out or jealous of new baby brother. We include him as much as possible in the pregnancy but he seems to pull away and try to avoid it. But at times he seems excited. I know this is going to be a huge change for him since he’s so use to being an only child. I was thinking about doing a big brother gift to give him at my baby shower so he doesn’t feel In the shadows while we celebrate the new baby. But I have no idea what to get him, has anyone else done this for their first born or older siblings? I want him to feel involved and celebrate him becoming a big brother😃
