Worried

My bf went to the hospital today to be checked out bc he coughed up blood and he's been having chest pain. They ran the test for bronchitis and stuff like that and they all came back negative so they did xrays and took tissue I'm assuming for a cancer screening (I wasn't there with him just what he told me) and now we're worried it could be lung cancer 😔. He's only 20 and smokes and I told him he needs to quit. I don't know what to feel right now.. I'm so scared bc he's the love of my life and I don't wanna be here without him 😭..
