Transition to Crib

My LO turns 6 months on 5/1. Up until now, she has been sleeping in our room. My husband and I have agreed it’s time to start transitioning her to her crib in her own room. I’m still a little hesitant about it but I know she’s not getting very good sleep in our room. She still isn’t sleeping through the night. She still wakes up to eat at least twice a night.

My question is, how do I go about transitioning her to her crib. I’ve tried putting her in her room for naps but she wakes up after 15-20 mins. Idk of I want to do the CIO method. I’m so torn. What are some tips to help her transition her to sleeping in her crib at night?
