Angry sister-in-law 👀

I announced my pregnancy today on Facebook, no one knew, not my family or his, so it was equal opportunity for them all to find out at the same time. Anyway, his sister went into the post and angry reacted it, and then went and posted a status about how she’s so angry and hurt that she’ll never be able to post a pregnancy announcement and she bitter other people can (she literally said herself that she’s bitter), and she’s always gonna feel like her life is missing something.

My SOs brother and sister are both infertile, he was lucky enough not to be. He has a son from a previous relationship and they where angry then and saying it probably wasn’t his kid because they didn’t know if my SO was infertile too or not. And then I got pregnant almost two years ago with my son, they where secretly questioning him without me knowing, asking if it was his kid again, even though his first kid obviously looks exactly like him so we already know he can have kids, and plus I’ve only been with him so it was impossible to be someone else’s, but of course people just can’t believe what they don’t want to. And now I post about this pregnancy and she’s apparently grown the balls to be open about her anger, his brother hasn’t even seen it yet so who knows how that’s gonna go 🙄

I understand the resentment some woman can grow in them over not being able to have kids, I’m not even mad at her about her being mad, it’s just how open she was about it to go and angry react for everyone to see and post a status that’s obviously about me, it just seems childish for a grown woman to do. And it’s not like she doesn’t have a kid, she actually has a son she adopted as a baby a few years ago, I understand it’s not the same thing as having your own but I’d hope she’d realize that she still gets to experience motherhood even then? Like I feel like she shouldn’t be saying she’s missing something in her life when she has a son?
