Yeast Infection

I think I have a yeast infection for the first time in my life. It’s unbearably itchy and now noticed I have cottage cheese type discharge. I bought Boric Acid Suppositories thinking it was Bacterial Vaginosis because I have no odor and never had the discharge.

I have a doctor’s appointment on Monday but will the boric acid help? should I get Monistat? My doctor was the one who suggested the boric acid prior. What will give me some relief?
