Is it worth getting checked?

I have severe sharp pains going through my vagina and butt every 5 minutes but don't know if this is contractions or not???? I'm 37 weeks and 5 days
Sorry I should add: I have had lightening crotch my entire pregnancy but this is 5 minutes apart and also hurts at the bottom of my belly.

It could be are you timing them? I know my mom said she had pain similar to what your describing when she was in labor. You can always call your L&D if your concerned.

If it is coming at regular intervals and feels different, I would personally get checked. Never hurts to err on the side of caution.

I had this with all 3 pregnancies it’s lightening crotch very uncomfortable but totally normal. Especially near the end as baby so big puts loads of pressure around that area.

If it's like a shooting pain it's lightening crotch don't worry about this I'm 30+4 today and had it for weeks ☺️
