Crying baba

For the last 3 weeks (daughter is 6weeks old) it seems that every time my husband holds our daughter she cries, his attempts to soothe her also never work. He’s getting very down about it - it does look as though her crying is directly related to him holding her, most of the time it’s instant distress and I’ve no idea why! He no longer has any patience, always passes her to me and she stops crying Immediately. He’s tried bottle feeding her my expressed milk but she refuses it, or too distressed to take it from him. Not really sure what more we can do, he’s convinced our daughter doesn’t like him ☹️
