Any one had VBAC ?

I went to my appointment 3 days ago and I was told since I had a C section before I’m going to be having another one it’s not what I wanted to hear I would like to deliver natural any of you lady’s had a successful VBAC or is there anything I can do to avoid a C section again. The reason I got my last c section was because my baby had turned over facing upward so I ended in the surgery room. I really don’t want to go through that again

Doctors don’t like the risk involved with VBAC, although they will let you. I work on a postpartum floor and have seen a few uterine ruptures from VBAC and they had to go to intensive and loose their uterus all together. I’ve also seen plenty of successful VBAC’s. Just know you risk losing your uterus and having another emergency c/s with possible life threatening complications.

How long has it been since your last c-section!??? Some doctors don’t believe in VBACs so you may just need to find a doctor that will try to grant your wishes of your body is able to do it!!
