How much milk should I be getting?

My baby is a week old. He wont latch (my nipples are flat and pointed down) I'm pumping about an ounce between each boob in 15 minutes. I'm drinking 3 liters of water a day and I'm drinking mothers milk tea and taking lactation pills. Is this normal or am I going to stop producing milk?

Try drinking the Body Armour drinks. For me I can instantly feel my breast fill up. They say the coconut water is what does it. I always pump more after drinking them vs just drinking water.

Milk production is supply & demand! Just keep putting baby on boob as much as possible

I have the same issue with the latching. Then I went and bought a nipple shield and my baby breastfeeds with no problem.

2 ounces is plenty at 2 weeks old
