Are you jealous?

I have two beautiful boys that I wouldn’t trade for anyone. My sister just found out that she is having a girl, her first was a boy. Every time I brag about having a new niece, something I’m very excited for since she’ll be my first someone always responds with  “ are you jealous”. Should I be jealous? I think that is weird and inappropriate to ask.

Some people have the “one of each” mentality. I personally see myself as a boy mom and would LOVE two boys, even three! I don’t know what I would do with a girl. Other people do not feel like their family is complete without at least one of each gender. It’s weird they Project that on to you.

Some people might be, but I absolutely see no reason to be! Those people might just be wanting to check on you, but you absolutely don’t need to answer them and are more then welcome to tell them to check themselves: “why would I be jealous? I have a beautiful family and her daughter will only add to my already beautiful life!”
