do these side effects last upto a week after consumption? i took the pill on the night of the day i ovulated and today is the 5th day and I still feel pukish sometimes and get indigestion. im also emotionally unstable and having sudden outburst of tears in the middle of nothing. there is no discharge/my boobs dont hurt. is this normal? I do feel tired all the time though

The pill works by delaying ovulation and also creating an unsuitable environment which the egg can't survive in. This requires disrupting your bodies natural hormone cycle quite a bit. Especially if you are sensitive to synthetic hormones you will feel the effects more. So don't panic if your cycle is all out of whack for the next couple weeks or so
