Herpes possibility

This might be a weird sort of tmi..

So i had a blood and urine test done in February-ish and the results came out that I had herpes. They didn’t say what type because for that I’d have to go take another test. I never had sexual contact but I also recently found out my mom also has herpes. I’m afraid I might have it and I don’t wanna have my life ruined since I wanna have kids. Is there a chance that she passed it on to me?

When they sent me to do the test I had a weird dryness down there and they said it might be cause I wasn’t drying it properly but it didn’t look like the pictures that come out in google related to herpes. Currently I have two white “bumps” close to pimples and one sorta hurts and I’m terrified that it’s a breakout. They don’t look nothing similar to the pictures either so I wouldn’t know.

With my moms herpes the doctors never told her anything. She said that when they told her what she had she asked if she needed medication but they said no cause it wasn’t anything to worry about yet they didn’t tell her it is highly contagious so she had no clue of what it is.

Please someone help me i can’t sleep at night due to the fact that I might have it.
