Painful Braxton Hicks?

I have had LOTS of BH the last 2 days. They have been irregular and just uncomfortable not painful. I can stay calm and breathe through them. But when I woke up to use the bathroom last night I had one that was VERY painful and felt like how I imagine a real contraction would feel. It was intense and scared me honestly because it came out of nowhere. It was enough to make me make some unconscious sounds out loud and I had to force myself to remember to breathe.

Haven’t had that kind of contraction again since last night and baby is moving just fine. Has anyone else experienced a random very painful contraction? And then no more?
