Miscarriage

when i had a miscarriage i went to the emergency room. i was given a “receipt” of miscarriage. do you always get one?

we have a person at our job who says she was pregnant. she said she didn’t know for 9 weeks and she got an ultrasound on the 22nd. she never showed us it but said that she’s high risk so she could lose it. the 23rd she left work early saying she had a miscarriage and our boss just wanted a note or “receipt” saying she had one so they could add it to her file and give her time off work. she got defensive about it and then came back a day later with a note but it didn’t look right.
