BF not motivated

Me and my boyfriend have been together for 5 years. We started dating in high school and continued through 4 years of long distance relationship. This summer I come home and we have signed a 2 year lease on an apt. I love him very much but it’s been hard to be with him lately bc he’s so unmotivated. In the last year he stopped going to school but will restart in the fall. But in the meantime he hasn’t found a job even though I have urged him to be just doesn’t see the need for one. All he does all day is play video games. He still lives with his parents (22) and borrows money from them for gas and dinner and movies for everything. Is discouraging to talk about him to people because he’s turning into a scrub. But I love him I don’t want to break up with him, he just used to have so much energy and will. But I just don’t see it anymore. I’ve lived on my own in college for 4 years. And I just don’t see the determination to work.
