Light brown discharge??

I’m 5 weeks pregnant and today I have some light brown discharge. I called my nurse and she said it’s normal and my cervix is just changing. Has anyone had any experience with this?

I haven’t had any spotting yet but during my ultrasound the doctor said I had blood in my uterus from implantation and that it will likely come out as brown spotting or just be reabsorbed by my body. He said as long as it isn’t bright red it’s fine. But definitely follow up with the doc again if anything changes.

Mine started last week after sex. It was light and occasionally when I wipe, I still see some brown.

I just had brown tinted cm today and I am 5 weeks exactly. I was planning on calling tomorrow. This is actually making me feel a little better. I thought maybe I did something being on my feet most of yesterday and today. I am still a little worried, but it only happened once today.

I had light brown discharge at around five weeks as well and everything was fine. I’m 8.5 weeks now and saw the baby’s heartbeat a few days ago, everything looked great. My midwife said as long as it’s brown and not red, and not very much it’s nothing to worry about. Could be cervix irritation from sex or straining to use the bathroom. I know it’s nerve wracking! Try to relax and call your doctor if you are really worried. I am sending good thoughts your way!
