Just need some friendly advice ⁉️

I’ve started to see this guy and everything I great. He works at this industrial company on night shifts. So I get work is busy and whatever. But lately past 3-4 days whenever I would text him, little things like “enjoy your shift” stuff like that. He would ALWAYS leave me on read or opened. I wasn’t too bothered by it because I thought to myself, “he’s busy, I’m sure he’ll text me back later” but no. He’s out here sharing shit on Facebook and commenting on posts. Doing everything else but texting me back. On Facebook and messenger he’s always leaving me on seen. He says he doesn’t wanna lose me and if I were to get up and disappear he would be upset big time. But it just bothers me when people do that but can respond to others peoples shit.

Am I overreacting? I just feel like deleting him off everything and getting on with my life. This isn’t the first time. What should I do? I tried and talked to him about it but he basically told me “chill girl I’m busy at work”
