First time IVF-er here. What is a cavity ultrasound?

With dye? Not a HSG. I asked the nurse but she didn’t tell me much.

Maybe it’s a saline ultrasound? I had one done. They just inject saline solution through a catheter into your uterus and with the ultrasound they can see if there’s any objects like fibroids or cysts that could complicate pregnancy.

I did ivf but I’ve never heard of this, sorry I’m no help but I would for sure fish for more answers!
