Sex after miscarriage?

What is the safest time after a miscarriage to have sex? I have US tomorrow to confirm everything has left and hcg levels are gone. I will definitely ask my OB, but I have stopped bleeding completely and it’s been one week exactly. I haven’t seen my husband in a week and I will be going back home tomorrow and we are more than ready to see each other, it’s been such a long and stressful time apart. When did you have sex again and was everything ok afterwards???
