Fussy baby, daddy blames me.
I am a SAHM with our 5 week old daughter. She is such a happy baby. She only cries when hungry, has a dirty diaper, or gassy. Today, she has been pretty fussy. I think she is going through a leap, but daddy blames me. She had a little bit of a stuffy nose today too. He says I take her out too much. We went to a breastfeeding support group today, which he referred to as “gallivanting”. Yesterday we ran a few errands, and the day before that we went to the park for a babywearing event. Usually I don’t take her out so consistently, but it has felt nice to get out. He says he is kind of joking, but wants me to stay home more. Asked me if I can’t handle being a SAHM. I honestly think she was just tired and going through a leap. It made me sad when he blamed me. Anytime she is slightly fussy he freaks out and thinks she is incredibly ill. I know he just cares a lot, but we are blessed with how content she is most days. I feel like there are days she is bound to be fussy. 🤷🏼♀️
