Birth control( Nexplanon)

So I’m on the nexplanon implant. The first three years were great! No crazy issues, no bad cycles, everything was fine. I’m on it again now and it’s been a year and five months. I’m having trouble this time. My boyfriend even noticed. I’m VERY mood. I’m feeling depressed, sad all the time and just feel like I’m crazy. The things that would normally make me feel better, going for a walk, working out, or cleaning don’t seem to do it anymore. That’s when I noticed something was wrong. I plan on taking it out as soon as I can. Any other suggestions of which birth control would be better?
