What week are you making food to freeze?

I’m 35 weeks and not sure when to start preparing food to freeze for after baby.

I made: chili, breakfast burritos, lasagna, shepherds pie, Italian rice and meatballs. Also I went to Costco and got their muffins and individually wrapped them. They freeze really well! Family and friends will help you too hopefully snd bring you dinners!

My famly has a tradition of when a new baby is born all the women go do a deep clean and cook food to freeze while mom and baby are in the hospital.

I made chili, spaghetti sauce, potato soup, easy bake chicken, creamy italian chicken, fajita mix, etc. Literally anything i can pop open and thrpw in the crockpot and forget about. I made enough freezer meals to last us the first three weeks and boy was that a life saver!

My church friends always have a bake day for the new moms so I don’t have to worry about making food! Yay!!!❤️🤗 they usually bring all the yummy food a week after babies born.

My plan is at 34/35 weeks. I want everything done by 36 in case she comes early but dont want to do it too soon so it keeps longer if needed.

I’m going to around 36 weeks. I wish we had more freezer space, I’ll only be able to make 4-6 probably.

I prepped around 35/36 weeks. Which is good, because my energy totally crashed at the end of 36 weeks and I’ve basically been a couch potato since the. (40+2 now).
