Starbucks & Pregnancy Advice?

Question

I’m going to be able to have Starbucks for the first time since being pregnant tomorrow! Way too excited for this. 
Anyway, I usually order a Veti Iced Coffee with White Mocha and breve (cream). 
Since the iced coffee doesn’t come decaf, is ordering venti okay or should I get a smaller size? 
Or, any pregnancy-friendly drink suggestions close to this one?💕

My doctor told me as long as you’re not having like 4 cups a day, you’re good on any caffeine. I drink iced coffee every morning and just had a venti one from Starbucks yesterday

I say if you're not having it every day, you're fine! Maybe that's an unpopular opinion. But one day of going over your 200-300mg is not going to hurt baby.

Venti is still okay to order, I just wouldn't have any other caffeine for the rest of the day. If you don't mind the taste of espresso, you could also order an iced americano either decaf or half calf as well!

I think you can order this still but as a latte instead of iced coffee.. I believe their grande and venti BOTH only have two shots of espresso.. which is 150 mg of caffeine. I usually stick with a grande single shot vanilla latte. Now I want Starbucks 🤤  Enjoy!!

Iced coffee is not the same as their cold brew. I think it’s totally fine to treat yourself to coffee, especially if it’s only once in awhile. You can always go to the Starbucks website to see if you can find how much caffeine is in the drink you want. I know different people go by different amounts but I’ve been told 200 mg or less a day.

200 mg is okay a day in pregnancy. A grande iced coffee has 165 mg. I have a grande once a day!

Ice coffee and cold brew are two different things at Starbucks I’ve figured out (I rarely get Starbucks) iced coffee is old coffee that they cool down, so it’s has less caffeine than cold brew. I’d say stick to the small or medium to be safe.

Doctors suggest staying under a certain amount of caffeine. Usually one regular drink and then switch to decaf. I’d just get your regular drink.

iced coffee (which I think is their cold brew?) is actually more caffeinated than normal coffee which I'm pretty sure we should only have half the amount of ounces.. so no.
You can get an iced decaf Americano fixed the same way though 😊

Whenever I get my ice coffee I just ask for half decaf, that way I still have some caffeine but not too much.
