What surprised you most?

I thought it would be cool to see what surprised everyone who’s had children the most about giving birth. I figured FTMs would be interested too. Obviously everyone’s experience is different, but if you’ve been through labor/delivery before what surprised you the most about your whole experience?

For me, I would say the fact that I didn’t cry when my son was born. I’m a very emotional person and had infertility issues with my first born, but I didn’t cry like I thought I would!
