Daughter visiting in hospital?

Do they normally let your first born come visit in the hospital? This is my second baby so I never really thought about it until right now haha

My daughter is almost 3 and she is going to be there through the whole labor and will be staying with us while we are at the hospital. I have no family really and she is a big mama bean so she'll be there. Of course i habe a back up just in case she is sick or grouchy my best friend will take her but im trying to aviod her leaving at all costs.

Our hospital let’s then come but they can’t stay past 10 pm. My 2.5 year old will be the first to meet her brother!

Some hospitals will not allow children to visit during cold/flu season. So, I would check with your hospital and see if they have that restriction and when it ends. Honestly I think most hospitals will have ended the restriction by now since cold/flu season tends to last through April and then is over.

Yes every hospital is different but I know at mine it’s direct siblings or anyone over 13

No. My hospital doesn’t let any children under the age of 12 back to see the rooms during flu season which to the hospital is from September to End of May. I know another hospital near by does not have a flu season rule.
