NJ Paid Family Leave
If there’s a better room for this question please let me know!
I’m not sure if I want to return to work or not, and currently I’m on short term disability from my company. Little one is a little over a month old. Before I went out I checked with HR and I would not have to pay this back if I don’t return.
However, our company does payroll deductions to pay for New Jersey’s various “maternity leave” programs. One being the paid family leave (also known as bonding time).
The time is coming where I would be applying for the bonding time leave. I’ve been trying to research this for awhile but can’t find anywhere that says whether this would have to be paid back if I don’t return to work. Does anyone have any experience with this?
