Becoming a sahm?

My husband and i are getting stationed in Korea where it’s very hard to find a job due to the 80/20 rule. Also I’m due in November and i will be starting online schooling. My questions are , how do you gift your husband if I don’t have a job? How could i make it easier on him since he will be working and should i start learning our budget now? We will be moving in July I’m very nervous because I don’t want him to feel like I’m being lazy. Sorry if i sound ignorant in any way

You need to discuss this all with him. My husband is the only one working.. I didn’t work at all while we were stationed in Korea. Now I’m home, pregnant and don’t plan on getting a job after baby comes in July. But I do all of the bill paying in our family. So my husband makes the money and I pay bills and manage what we spend. It works well for us. We’ve had long convos about how I contribute. When my husband comes home from Korea and we get to our next station, the plan is for my to be a SAHM and work on keeping the house clean and take care of our child, all while still being in charge of our spending.

You could start learning the budget now so you can help with that if he wants you to. My husband always gives me almost like an allowance every month. I buy things like gifts and stuff out of that. He does all the finances, so I really never know what's in our account Haha. But we only share the one, so you just gotta do some trial and error to figure out what works specifically for you.
