I developed an infection

I have been getting fertility treatments,

IUI

and clomid and developed PID. I ended up having an early miscarriage because I didn’t know I had an infection. In the end it was excruciating pain after MC which I thought was normal..waking me up in the middle of the night and ending up in ER where I was admitted for IV antibiotics right away. Now I’m home and on a round of oral antibiotics which have resulted in a yeast infection. They say PID is from being instrumented a lot i.e

IUI

and multiple US because I tested negative for STIs which usually cause PID. Anyway this was a bit of a scare as I now may have to have a surgery to drain an abscess if it’s still there. I find out next week. I’m kind of scared to go back and get more fertility txs after that. I want a baby but I don’t want to die in the process. 😔
