Husband getting worked up

Does any of you ladies husbands get worked up if he’s upset about something you guys got into an argument about ? Like he’s not being disrespectful or swearing etc but he gets a little loud and really frustrated?and then when you tell them to calm down or why are you getting frustrated etc they get more upset? Any advice on what to do when they are upset? Looking for respectful, helpful advice!
