Cellulite and being thin? Do those of you who are thin have cellulite? Im a 120 pounds and 5'2". I have an athletic build but have had cellulite as long as I can remember. Is this common despite being thin?

I'm not sure how you can reduce it, but I know it's just how women's bodies are designed to store fat. It's normal and 100% natural. Nothing to be ashamed of.

Cellulite has nothing to do with how much you weigh. Cellulite happens when our skin can no longer support the tissue underneath it (the layer immediately under the skin is subcutaneous fat cells). As collagen and elastin in your skin break down, the fat cells underneath the skin begin to sag. They do not have to be large for this to happen. This is generally a result of poor skin tone and improper nutrition to keep collagen and elastin production up in the skin. You making sure to eat all your vitamins and minerals every day? You making sure to drink at least 80-100 oz of water a day?

Cellulitis is not dependent on weight, it just makes it more prominent. If you have it or not is mainly dependent on genetics and, well, there's no changing that, for now. You can just increase muscle mass and keep your skin well cared for and your body hydrated to lessen the appearance.
