New guy I’m seeing just confessed something

The mother of his child hates my guts over something SHE DID to me in HS. They’ve been broken up for about 2 years now. He has a 6 year old daughter with her which I already knew but he told me that just recently his daughter has been “texting” him telling him to leave her alone and not look for her again. I have a 4 year old son and he can barely work his iPad. I’m not getting involved in that but if I’m the reason why he won’t be able to see his daughter then I’m leaving. Any opinions?
