Am I overreacting?

Okay ladies I need your honest opinion-

I’ve had it with my bf, we’ve been together for 2 years now (he’s 26 I’m 25years old) I’m his very first gf. When we started he was fine until about 8 months into our relationship, the jealousy started. The abuse started (verbal & emotional) and he’d tell me it’s because I’m his first gf to be patient with him so I did. Now we’re at our 2 year mark and it’s getting worst.

He shows up at my house to make sure I’m home when I’m not answering him, right now I told him I was going to the gym before heading out to the office and since I wasn’t answering him at the gym he started texting me that “I bet you’re with another guy right now that’s why you’re not answering” I call him once I’m out and I just about had it am I wrong for telling him to grow up??? He acts like a damn man child, he’s so insecure it’s ugly and he responds “I am insecure and what, don’t be surprised when I show up at your gym”

He flaunts this and it’s so disgusting. Am I wrong for telling him what I did????

He said I should be a partner and be reassuring him, wtf????? He’s 26!!!!! He does this everyday if I don’t get back to him within a minute.

Is this a reason to leave????

Oh & just last week it was my daughters birthday (from previous relationship) so I took her out of school early to spend quality time with her before she heads out to her dads

My partner “forgot” it was her birthday so I wasn’t on my phone took her painting and when I finally checked there were msgs from him saying “answer your fucking phone!!” “You’re probably sucking dick right now”
