Gender Reveals

I overheard a conversation about this the other day while I was studying in the library and I thought it could make an interesting topic. Hopefully not an ugly one 🤞🏻

Do gender reveals have us going in the wrong direction in terms of gender fluidity, gender neutrality, and transgender acceptance?

Everyone celebrates a child being one gender or another at gender reveals. Do you think if a child went back and saw how happy everyone was on their gender reveal day, say on Facebook or Instagram, that they were a certain gender they would be less likely to come out as gender fluid or transgender in fear of disappointing their parents as they had made such a big deal about it before they were born? Or do you think they are just harmless fun?
