Weight loss motivation
Never did I think I’d post something like this online (especially for strangers) but this is a HUGE victory for me. Back in high school I was 125 lbs of muscle; I was super athletic and had a cute, petite body. Fast forward to 3 years later, I weighed 155 pounds and felt like crap—both physically and mentally. I tried for so long to lose weight, but it felt as if the harder I tired, the more I gained weight. I decided to not overthink it; just cut back on sugar and carbs, drink only water (with the occasional crystal light), and do 35 minutes of yoga and 30 minutes of HIIT workouts a day. In about 5 weeks I lost 7 pounds, but I didn’t feel like there were any physical changes and was starting to become discouraged—until I took a progress photo. This is a small change but feels amazing knowing something is finally working. I hope this helps motivate anyone out there who is struggling with weight loss and feels like they’ll never see results. Every small change (even just 1 pound) is a step towards your health and appearance goals. Don’t give up! 🖤
