When did your dr take you off work? How many weeks where you? And what was the reason for taking you off? I’m 30 weeks and it’s getting harder for me to work but seems like it’s not a problem with the dr. It’s getting harder for me/: what can I tell my dr so he can take me off work😩 thanks in advanced.

You still have 10wks to go chica.  Are you doing hard labor at work? If not then... i mean it is what it is. You will be uncomfortable. This is pregnancy. Eat healthy, drink water, and go for walks. If you truly cant work then maybe discuss w your SO if quitting is best. I wouldnt count on your work paying for you now for 10wks then maternity leave on top of it unless there is truly a medical reason which makes you unable to work.

Most women I know worked until at least 38 weeks if not up to the due date. Your doctor probably isn't going to take you off if there isn't a health reason.

It’s harder and harder for me to get through my day however I want to keep as much time as possible of my leave to spend with my new baby. I’m on my feet 12 hours a day if not more I’m in pain and because he’s so low I have a ton of pressure in my pelvis I’ve thought about maybe just starting my leave at about 38 weeks so I’m not losing too much time off however I could stay pregnant til 41 weeks and I want those 3 extra weeks.

I was taken out at 14 weeks due to being severely high risk. I go back to work next week. 😩
I would just explain it to your doctor. If you’re not comfortable, it shouldn’t be a problem. You shouldn’t be forced to work if you aren’t comfortable with it.

I worked through my due date then started my maternity leave the next day. That’s kind of the norm around my office so I didn’t want to be the one person that took off a week early. I plan on doing the same with this one. It was hard but I didn’t have a health reason to quit work earlier according to my dr. I was uncomfortable and I feel like I probably made some mistakes there towards the end but I didn’t have my baby until a week and a half later so that ended up being plenty of time off.

Explain to your dr that you’re having trouble getting through work. I’m high risk so I was taken out at 12 weeks but I’m sure if you explain to him what you’re feeling he won’t have any problem writing you out.
