So bubs gets another bilirubin test next week at his 1 month check up. His pedi wants him on 48hrs of strictly formula before hand (currently getting only breastmilk through bottle) to see if that brings it into the normal range before we go to lights.

Has anyone done that before? I don't mind switching him to formula, actually it'd be easier as mom of 2 under 2, if it truly is in his better interest. BUT, from what I've read it doesn't help to put them on formula? Any moms out there with this?
